I seem to be on a roll this Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse day. This morning, I sat down just to fool around on my new Yamaha Clavinova. As I usually do, I started with Mozart. His pieces are always good for warming up the fingers.
Suddenly, this “fooling around” led to a new creation – Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto but on Flutes and String Orchestra. I never even set up the cameras. I recorded just the sound and then later added the video I had filmed earlier.
In my humble opinion, and with apologies to the great composer who has also written many flute pieces, to me, this sounds better than the original clarinet version. What do you think?
