CONCIERTO DE ARANJUEZ, SECOND EDITION

Aranjuez_Palacio Concierto title

Ever since my original celestial download of “Concierto de Aranjuez” in March 2009, when I actually no idea what the music was that I was playing on my old piano here in Scottsdale, this piece of Spanish culture has been one of my all-time favorites.  There is something truly ethereal about it.

Here’s my original recording made just before my move to Maui on March 17, 2009. It includes a story about the vision this music created at the time in my mind. Feel free to let your imagination go as you listen to it.

And now, here’s my latest rendition of “Concierto de Aranjuez.” Unlike the first one, when my interpretation was limited to just the piano, this time, I played it on my Clavinova the way I could hear it in my Third Ear – with the sounds of flutes, harp, piano and strings.

Enjoy…

And now, here are some photos of Aranjuez, a royal city of Spain. King Phillip II, one of my past Screen Shot 2013-11-09 at 9.52.05 AMincarnations, had that beautiful palace built in 1560. It has been a second residence of the Spanish kings ever since.

By the way, I now understand why my Spirit guides gave me that musical download back in March 2009. At the time, I had not idea about any of my past associations with Aranjuez.
