Excerpt from Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, II Movement – Valse
Last night, Elizabeth and I attended an excellent performance of Verdi’s “Rigoletto” (opera) at the Phoenix Symphony Hall.
Before that, however, at home, we also danced to the music of Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, II. Valse.
This is a piece we heard a week ago while at the Phoenix Symphony’s CHAMBER MUSIC EVENING IN SCOTTSDALE.
The Tchaikovsky music resurfaced again this week in dreamtime. When I woke up on Nov 13, I knew I had to learn it and record it even if I have done a chamber music piece before.
