Enjoy some of the most beautiful places on Earth
A film by Bob Altzar Djurdjevic – Jan 24, 2015
Over the years, I have traveled several million miles around the world. This compendium of images represents some of my favorite places and some of the most amazing sights on our beautiful planet.
I never meant to take this particular journey. But by the time I was finished, I just had to share it with all of you. It would have been way too selfish to keep this kind of beauty only to myself.
It all started with an idea I woke up with on Friday morning. I was to try to make my computer desktop more dynamic. I could have done it probably years ago. But I never had the urge. It was only yesterday morning that I felt compelled to do so. And to have my desktop images change every 5 seconds.
And then I was hooked. I started with six photos. Four hours and 82 images later, I created this slideshow. And then a short video, including some great music that befits the visual beauty.
So please join me in this travelogue around the world in the company of Claude Debussy (“Clair de Lune”) and Pyotr Tchaikovsky (“Swan Lake” finale).
As we travel along with the help of these 82 images randomly sequenced by my computer software, keep track of how many places you can identify. And then share it with me, will you?
You may also notice that even though the order in which the images appear is random, there is a “method to the madness” of the Spirit or computers, including the background music. 🙂
Alas, I cannot take credit for that. Only for noticing it as I was making this film…

OUR BEAUTIFUL PLANET – PART 3
FEBRUARY 3, 2015 by ALTZAR – UPDATE
Here are seven new updates to my computer “wallpaper”… and to the pictorial “Our Beautiful Planet” – http://wp.me/p1jFeo-13p.
Which one is your favorite?
Mine is Hanalei Bay, Kauai (first two shots above). The rest of the photos (in order) are… Utah – Mesa Arch, Tuscany, Positano (Amalfi Coast), Killarney (Ontario, Canada),
Hanalei Bay is, without a doubt, the most beautiful place on this planet. And Claude Debussy’s “Clair de Lune” melody, which I filmed there at Easter 2011 (see Hanalei Bay, Apr 2011), seems to be written for it even if Debussy never set foot on Kauai.

And then, just as I was about to post this update #3 to OUR BEAUTIFUL PLANET, a giant sunset rainbow popped up here at the Rainbow Shower in Maui. It was as if the Wirakocha (God), Inti Taiti (Father Sun) and Pachamama (Mother Earth) were telling me – “here, add this one, to your collection as well. Actually, make it two.” 🙂
