… to remind us of a famous anniversary
On 55th Anniversary of President Eisenhower’s Ominous Warning, Our National Anthem Comes to Me in Dreamtime, Followed by “TRUTH” Spirit Guidance
Words of Wisdom We Did Not Heed
Last night, our national anthem came to me in dreamtime. I don’t remember the dream. But even as I was waking up, the music was still playing.
I figured I had to record it even though I did not know why at first. I don’t think I have ever really played the “Star Spangled Banner.” Maybe doodled a few notes here and then. But when I sat down to play it this morning on my Clavinova, a full instrumental orchestration came together in less than half an hour even before Elizabeth got the breakfast ready.
And then, as we talked about it over breakfast, the veil was lifted and I understood what the Spirit message was. Unbeknownst to my conscious self at the time, today is the 55th anniversary of the famous President Eisenhower’s farewell address in which he warned the nation about the dangers of the “disastrous rise of misplaced power” of the “military-industrial complex.”
It is a quote I used for the first time in a speech to a group of pan-European business people in Mallorca, Spain in Jun 1984. I have used it many times since in my public speeches and articles;es, including in a recent Truth in Media peace (see below).
And then, just to be sure I got the message, the Spirit also dealt me the TRUTH guidance card this morning:
“Speaking your Truth is liberating. See with the eyes of your heart. The heart never lies. It will tell you what’s true and what’s false. Allow your heart to transform any untruths that may be keeping you from experiencing who you really are into pure joy.” (Mystic Meds + my own download)
And now, with that as a preamble, here’s my first and the only recording of our national anthem, made this morning at the Rainbow Shower in Maui, combined with a video excerpt from the Eisenhower 1961 speech:
“STAR SPANGLED BANNER” COMES TO ME IN DREAMTIME … to remind us of a famous anniversary

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY… JAN 17, 1961
…AND WHY WE HAVE FAILED TO HONOR AND PROTECT THEIR LEGACIES
In his farewell address to the nation on this day 55 years ago, President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned the American people to keep a careful eye on what he calls the “military-industrial complex” that has developed in the post-World War II years.
ALTZAR: He was neither the first nor the only President to express such concerns. Abe, Ike, JFK, among others, warned us – the future generations of Americans.
We did not heed their words of wisdom. We shrugged and shrank from our duties as free people. We turned into couch potatoes and allowed the corporations to usurp our liberties and democratic processes, and turn this erstwhile Republic into a plutocracy.
Which is why and how today we have a CRIMINAL GOVERNMENT in Washington instead of the “government of the people, by the people, for the people.”
