HOFMANN IN BELGRADE: FIRST SOUNDS OF MY NEWLY TUNED PIANO

HOFMANN IN BELGRADE: FIRST SOUNDS OF MY NEWLY TUNED PIANO

Mozart “Rondo alla Turca” (Turkish March); Rossini’s “William Tell” overture, Von Suppe’s “Light Cavalry,” Chopin’s Etude “Tristesse” (Sadness)

My tuner Mića Vasiljević came back today to tune my new white Hofmann piano, which he also delivered to me on July 9, and adjust some left pedal and keyboard issues I have noticed in the last two weeks.

And here are now the first sounds out of my “new and improved” instrument. To me, it sounds MUCH BETTER. And it plays better, too. So from now on, you can only blame me for any faux pas. 🙂

EARLIER RECORDINGS OF THESE PIECES

And now, here are the orchestral versions of these music pieces in my earlier recordings on the Clavinova. Except for the first video, which I recorded at the Musikverein in Vienna in May 2014 with a full string orchestra playing Mozart.
